The latest version of ChecklistPRO (v3.0.20) is now available in the store! We recommend upgrading to this version as it has several exciting new features (see the list below):
- ChecklistPRO Workspace UI
- Custom Component allowing for visualizing checklists on any table in Workspace UI
- ChecklistPRO Approval subflow added (in both Flow Design and Legacy Workflow)
- Allows for specifying approval methods: All Approve, # Approve, % Approve, # Manager(s) Approve
- Allows customers to build-their-own custom Approval Method
- Allow Checklist Approval and Checklist Assignment buttons to have customizable labels
- Journal entry functionality added to Checklist Approvals and Checklist Assignments
- Configurable option to require (or not) a “Rejected” Checklist Approval to have a journal entry
- Configurable option to have journal entries copied to the parent record’s comments field
There are a few known issues with the new ChecklistPRO custom component providing ChecklistPRO access in Workspace UI. We will be working to correct these in upcoming releases, but just wanted to call them out for you in advance:
- Reference Field types. If you have checklists with reference field types, we had to build our own reference field picker because ServiceNow does not yet have one for custom components to use. These checklist item types are not working optimally. You may wish to continue using UI16 or Service Portal or Employee Center if your checklists have these data types.
- Custom CSS in Workspaces.
- Manual refresh needed on the “checklist” tab of workspace to see the checklist.
